Learn More Welcome to Great Hearts Archway North Phoenix, Serving Grades K-6 Welcome to Archway Classical Academy | North Phoenix, This is an exciting time in the life of our academy and we are thrilled that you are looking into Archway North Phoenix as a home for your child’s educational journey. Archway North Phoenix is a K-6 elementary school within the Great Hearts network of schools. Enjoying our 7 th year of operation, our students are partaking in a rigorous classical education that includes world and American history and geography, grammar and composition, poetry, French and Latin, art, music, physical education, penmanship, spelling, science, mathematics, and classical literature. We read great books of literature that exemplify the virtues that we are founded on – friendship, honesty, perseverance, respect, kindness, humility, citizenship and wisdom. We mentor and lead by example so that our scholars can visibly see what it is to live a virtuous life. We actively pursue recognizing when these virtues take place and when they do not, helping children to make the right choices regarding situations they are presented with each day. Our core purpose is to cultivate the minds and hearts of students through the pursuit of Truth, Goodness and Beauty. We ask that you take time to explore the website, sign up for a tour, and contact us with questions. The News and Events page will provide information on the campus including current calendar information. The Academics tab will explain our curriculum, special education offerings and provide a list of literature books, textbooks, and supplies that are used at every grade level. The Athletics tab includes information about our after-school sports program offered on Wednesdays throughout the school year. The Academy Life tab includes information on our After-school Program, Athenaeum, which provides after care for all students. This tab also includes current information about Extra-curricular Activities offered after school. Information on our lunch program, uniform information and a copy of our family handbook can also be found here. The PSO tab gives information on our Parent Service Organization and all that it offers our students and the community as a whole.
